If you are coming from the East on Lougheed, turn left on Willingdon. At the first set of lights turn right, on Dawson (next set of lights) turn right again on Gilmore, to Lougheed hwy and right again. Stay in the right hand lane and this will bring you directly into our complex.

For the Pearson Professional Centre exit the subway at the St. Clair station (on the Yonge St. North/South route). Exit the station using the ST. CLAIR SOUTH SIDE exit. After exiting the station at street level turn right. The building in which the Pearson Professional Centre is located is 10 metres from the station. Take the elevator to the 5th floor.
The TTC operates parking lots at several of its stations. Commuters may park (for a fee) and complete their commute by subway. Go to their website for more information including rates.

The test centre is in the centre of Frankfurt, a ten minute walk from the train station. Follow signs for the Messe and then the directions by car.
To reach the centre by public transport:
Underground U4, exit ?Messe/Festhalle?, cross Friedrich Ebert Anlage, turn into Wilhelm Hauff Strasse, turn right into Bettinaplatz. Our test centre is at the top of Bettinaplatz, on the corner of Bettinastrasse.
To reach the centre by car:
From the Hauptbahnhof follow the signs for the Messe. On the right, you will see Beethovenstrasse. Turn right here and right again at the end of the street, into Bettinaplatz. From the airport:
Take any train from Frankfurt airport to the main station. From here take the underground, line U4, and follow the directions above.

NCLEX Eligibility
In order to take the NCLEX examination, you must apply for nursing license from your state board of nursing. The Board of Nursing will determine whether or not you meet its criteria for NCLEX examination-eligibility, then register to take NCLEX test.
NCLEX Registration
Once you have applied for a license from your state board of nursing, you will receive an NCLEX Examination Candidate Bulletin in the mail you may then register with the National Council of State Board of Nursing testing service by phone, or filling out a mail-in registration form.
Once your state board of nursing has verified your eligibility to take the NCLEX examination, you will receive an Authorization to take test (ATT) along with a list of testing center and instructions for how to schedule an appointment to take the examination.

Length of Test
The NCLEX examination is a multiple choice exam which uses in interactive system called Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) to gauge your level of competence. RN candidates will answer minimum of 75 questions, LPN candidate a minimum of 85 questions. After you have answered the minimum number of questions, the computer will attempt to access your level of competence.
If you are clearly above the passing standard at this time, you will pass, likewise, if you are clearly below the standard you will fail. If you are too close to the standard to allow a definitive result to be determined, you will continue to answer questions until a final assessment can be made. RN candidates may take maximum of 265 questions, LPN candidates a maximum of 205 questions.

Time to Complete the Exam
You will have 5 hours in which to complete the exam. This includes the time set aside for the introductory computer tutorial and 10 minutes breaks.

NCLEX Examination Scoring
The NCLEX examination is scored once by the computer on which you are taking it, and a second time by the National Council,s testing service.

Receiving Result
It will take about a month for your state board of nursing to mail you the result of the exam.

Not Passing the Test
If you fail the test, your state board of nursing will mail you a diagnostic profile that will outline both the areas of knowledge in which your performance was satisfactory and the areas in which it was not.

Retaking the Test
You may retaking the test as many time as you need to. The National Council,s policy dictates that you wait at least 91 days before retaking the test. Individual state boards may impose other, stricter requirements.
